Sand Key Park hosts great swimming and fishing. A rock barrier shields the beach and makes the waters just right for swimmers.

Directions:

Take the Howard Frankland Bridge to Roosevelt Boulevard. Go west to Bay Drive and cross the Bellair Causeway. Clearwater Beach was mobbed so we kept driving and found Sand Key. We loved it!-- Anonymous

i absolutely love it there! i used to live in that area and never grew tired of going to sand key- a beautiful, clean beach!-- krista

This is the beach to go to if you want to avoid all the craziness of Clearwater beach. This place is in a beautiful park with picnic tables and a playground for the kids. There is a parking lot up cl-- armywife
