See the battlefield with an eerie beginning that marked the beginning of the Second Seminole Indian War. In December of 1835, only 3 out of 108 soldier's survived to tell their leader's pre-battle encouragement "Have a good heart; our difficulties are over now, and as soon as we arrive at Fort King you'lll have three days to rest and keep Christmas gaily".
