CAMPFIRE PROGRAMS
January - March; Saturdays (7:30 p.m.)
April - June; Saturdays (8:30 p.m.)
Join a Park Ranger around the campfire. Program topics may vary and may cover subjects such as park history, wildlife and their habitats and plant communities. Park entrance or camping fee.
FT. FOSTER LIVING HISTORY TOURS
Jan. 17-18, Feb. 21-22 & March 21-22
Living History tours of Fort Foster a 2nd Seminole War fort. Tours begin at Hillsborough River SP Interpretive Center at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. Entrance Fee $2.00 adult, $1.00 ages 6-12, (under 6 FREE).
ANNUAL FORT FOSTER RENDEZVOUS
February 28 - March 1 (time TBA)
Come join us for a weekend of Living History. Be witness to how garrison life was in the 1800's. Throughout the day soldiers dressed in period uniforms will show what life was like at a frontier fort. This event is sponsored by the Hillsborough River SP Preservation Society. Donations: $3.00 adult admission, $1.00 child admission (under 6 FREE). All donations are used for park improvements.
